DIY // Easy beach hair spray

I always liked the idea of having beach hair all year around and when I discovered that many brands produce their own sea hair formulas to spray on you locks I was suddenly sold!

But somehow I thought that living by the beach was already doing its miracle and the price range of these products (and their not-so-natural formulas) made me forget about beach hair for a while.

Until summer ended and my hair style seemed having forgiven what those sunny days in the water looked like. But then I discovered that I could actually do my own sea salt spray for nothing and with natural products I had at home! I was so excited to try it and share it with you today! :)

This DIY is so very simple and you can use the products you already have at home!

Ready?

Ingredients:

100 ml spray bottle (I bought mine on Amazon for 3 euros)

warm water

1-2 tbs sea salt

1 tbs argan oil - you can use coconut oil if you prefer

*optional: 1 tbs water-based hair gel for more texture

*optional: juice of 1/2 lemon for natural lightening

Combine sea salt and argan oil in the spray bottle. Then fill the bottle with warm water and shake!!

Easy breezy!

Spray on your hair and repeat during the day for a beachier look.

This was super quick and easy to make and will definitely give our hair a beachy vibe whenever you want!

Unexpected day

Yesterday wasn't expected - 25°C on the 21st of November. I know that for many of you it may sound normal. But "normal" to me now would be a winter coat, a cozy warm bonnet and faux fur boots (and in Italy a little snow too!). The past weeks have been almost like that. Dry leaves on the ground, that chilly breeze of the morning and a cup of hot tea after work...

Yesterday morning we woke up and understood there was something different. A heat wave appeared to be hitting the whole Biarritz area to last until the end of the weekend. Perfect timing! :)

So, since Friday is usually my day off, I took advantage of the amazing weather and went to spend my afternoon at the beach.

After more than a year I'm getting used to Basque Country unpredictability. And I think I'm also trying to deal with sudden summer rainstorms and 15°C weeks of mid June (you can read a little post about my été basque here). So, I normally expect the worst from this crazy weather of ours.

But yesterday I was surprised in a good way and I am so grateful that I want to share it with all of you guys - and make some of you a little jealous too!! ;)

Because who knows what will next days be like?!
